Google Buzz is finally out.  I have been waiting for it and soooo very exited about it forever...  oh wait.  no I havent.  Actually I barely even heard about it before its release.  It kind of came out of no where.

There are blog posts all over the web stating "Its the greatest thing ever!  Its integrated into gmail, how could it not be great?".  These people love it are claiming that it will take a huge bite out of facebook/myspace's market share.  What I've noticed is that the people saying this are mostly the "guru" internet marketers.  I'm not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing.

The other group of people are the ones that are saying, "Its not ready and too glitchy" or "this is just another attempt at google's world domination."  While it does have its glitches and will probably help in world domination, it is just the first version and updates will come.

My opinion

Google Buzz is kinda cool in how it integrates with gmail, but can be annoying at the same time.  Using it too much will massively fill up your inbox which = no fun.  There is a hack for that but still... annoying.   Oh and the whole showing the world your contacts thing... also annoying.

I think that whether or not I like Buzz or not is kind of irrelevant.  If lots of people start to use it, and it becomes a common way to communicate (which it may b/c google is getting pretty fat), then I will probably use it.  As for now, I wont, I dont really have a need for yet another way to communicate w/ everyone.
